Players will come back from injury, they wont be out all season, apart from AC and JW. we miss Lanzini.
The likes of Anderson could easily play themselves into form.
How do you know what finances may be available in Jan? You don't.

No.

I couldn't give a fuck about West Ham LONDON.

They've got absolutely fucking nothing to do with me.

They could cease to exist for all I fucking care.

Trevor B in regards to funds, of course we don't know what's there but after spending lavishly in the summer but I assume it will be tight. I know other factors may be involved in Dec's contract talks but its not a good sign.

I'd take 14th, Gollivan will be pleased as they wont need to spend again in Jan, unless we get all shouty again v Burnley, seemed to work last year.

Re: Would you take 14th now...
No.

it's too soon to give up on finishing higher.

I'd certainly take 17th or higher, though, if that guarantee's on offer...

No. Not sure why everyone’s suddenly panicking.

Re: Would you take 14th now...
Nope. The expectations are rightly higher because everything on paper is significantly better than last season. Anything below top 10 is underachieving.

I was always a Druid, 3 Son, but fuck throwing in the towel, we're West Ham.

Re: Would you take 14th now...
No, because we will finish top half.

dicksie3 - well why don't you fuck off out of here then and leave it to people who still give a fuck?

Re: Would you take 14th now...
No chance. Outside the top 6 it's a free all with mostly SHIT sides. A top 10 spot is easily achievable.

Re: Would you take 14th now...
Yes if there is a realisation by owners that it will take investment over many seasons and support or a manager who wants and can build a footballing culture or ethos through all levels of the club.
I hope Pellegrini is that man but at 65 he may not want to go on for another 5 years or more

Of course not - 10 of the next 11 games are winnable, we'll be up challenging for 4th by Christmas.
